To get Canva to translate your design into English, open the design, go to Apps , search for Translate , then choose English as the target language and click Translate. Canva’s help says you can translate designs into 100+ languages, and its translator can work on either the whole page or selected text.

  1. Open your Canva design.
  2. Click Apps on the left panel.
  3. Search for Translate.
  4. Choose English.
  5. Pick whether to translate the whole page or selected text.
  6. Click Translate and review the result.

Useful settings

  • If you want to keep the original language version too, leave the option to duplicate the page on.
  • If you only want part of the design translated, select only those text boxes.
  • After translating, check line breaks and spacing, because English text may fit differently.

Notes

Canva’s translator is available directly inside the editor, and tutorials note it can be used in the free version for some translation features, though Canva also promotes broader translation access with Pro.
