Island ranks on Hypixel SkyBlock are set in the Social menu. Open your SkyBlock Menu, go to Island Management / guest management, pick the player, then assign the rank there or use the /islandrank command.

Steps

  1. Open the SkyBlock Menu.
  2. Go to the island management or guest management window.
  3. Select the player you want to rank.
  4. Click the redstone dust option to choose the rank.
  5. You can also use /islandrank if your server allows it.

Notes

  • Island ranks are custom roles created by the island owner.
  • They are cosmetic and management-based, not combat power boosts.

Requirements

Some island-rank features may depend on your Social level, since the Social skill unlocks extra island cosmetics and commands.

Quick example: if you want a friend to have builder access or a special role on your island, assign them a rank through the guest management screen after they join.

TL;DR: open the island/social management menu, select the player, and assign the rank there, or use /islandrank.
