Richmond Animal League’s standard adoption fees are: cats, $125 for kittens under 6 months, $100 for young cats 6–12 months, and $75 for adults 1 year+; dogs, $250 for puppies under 6 months, $200 for young dogs 6–12 months, and $150 for adults 1 year+.

They also offer special pricing: two kittens for $175, two young kittens for $125, and “Seniors Adopting Seniors” can pay what they want when adopters 55+ adopt cats 11+ or dogs 8+.

A few adoption events can temporarily change the fee, so the price may be lower during promotions.
