The next solar eclipse in Spain is on 12 August 2026. It will be a total solar eclipse in much of northern Spain, with partial visibility farther south.

Where it will be visible

The path of totality crosses Spain from west to east and includes places such as A Coruña, Oviedo, León, Bilbao, Zaragoza, Valencia, and Palma.

Timing

In Spain, the eclipse happens in the evening , close to sunset. For example, in A Coruña totality is expected around 20:28 , and in Palma around 20:32.
