Cortina d’Ampezzo (often just called Cortina) is a mountain town in the Dolomites of northern Italy, in the Veneto region, in the province of Belluno, set in the Ampezzo Valley in the southern Alps about 40 km north of the city of Belluno and roughly a couple of hours’ drive from Venice.
